CURRICULUM
The Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) sets the standards for learning and development of children. The Framework recognises there is a developmental continuum for children, and this is reflected in the development and learning of the individual and focuses on learning through play via the Early Learning Goals.
The framework is delivered through a well-planned play-based approach to learning and development. Through regular assessments of all activities we offer, we evaluate and plan for your child’s development incorporating all areas of play ensuring each child is treated individually and fairly. The Pre-school takes the children’s current interests and how they learn based on the Characteristics of Learning, Creating & Thinking Critically, Playing & Exploring and Active Learning, to enable the child’s individual needs to be met and provided for. We have regular outings to Bordon Inclosure to experience Forest School, regular trips to the Local schools library. Bordon Library make regular visits each term to read to the children.

The Key Person
Each individual child has a keyworker. The key person is responsible for your child’s care and development ensuring they have an adult they feel happy and secure to relate to in their environment. Through regular assessments of all activities we offer, we evaluate and plan for your Childs development incorporating all areas of play ensuring each child is treated independently and equally.
